To live alone or not? That is the question many may ask themselves. For Lexie H., her number one priority was safety. As a single woman, she wondered if it would be wise to live by herself. Could she feel safe?

“I wanted to live alone, and I know that I'm a scaredy pants,” she said. Then she found Cove home security and decided to give it a try.

“That was almost the deciding factor between me living alone or continuing to live with roommates,” Lexi said.

“When I first got it, I tripped the alarm on accident, and cops were there within three minutes. Ever since then, I have slept soundly and felt really safe.”

Lexie wanted to be an independent woman, and Cove helped her feel safe living alone.

In fact, Lexie liked her Cove system so much that she bought another system and gifted it to her sister as a Christmas present.

“Her husband works out of town a lot, and she was telling me how scared she was at night. I told her, ‘You don't have to be scared.’”

Sometimes Lexie babysits her nephew at her house, and she feels even more safe knowing if he were to choke or something were to happen, she would just need to hit her medical alert pendant and the police would be on their way.

“It's just this extra layer of protection. It really helps me cope with my anxiety and feel like I have someone and something that really has my back.”

Recently, she was babysitting at a friend’s house who doesn’t have Cove, and she was tempted to bring her system along.

“I really wanted it here. I wanted to have that safe feeling,” Lexie explained.
